This policy explains how Emircomp LLC (“Emircomp,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use Manny: Affirmation Lock and this website (the “Services”). Questions: [email protected].

Information we collect

Account. Your email address and a sign-in credential, if you create an account with email. If you sign in with Google, we receive the email address and basic profile information Google shares with us.

What you enter in the app. Your first name (optional), your goals, any personal details you type to personalise your affirmations, your affirmations (written by you or generated for you), and your settings. We also store daily counts of completed practices and unlocks, and your streaks.

Voice. When you say your affirmation, the app uses the microphone and Apple’s speech recognition to check what you said. Apple processes that audio under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store audio recordings, only whether the practice was completed.

Screen Time choices. When you pick apps to lock, Apple’s Screen Time framework handles the selection. It stays on your device. We cannot see which apps you chose or how you use them.

Device identifier. A random identifier generated by the app (not your advertising ID) that we use to limit how often affirmations can be generated.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.

Website. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process standard technical request data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on it.

How we use information

To provide the Services: sign you in, save and sync your data across your devices, generate and check affirmations, lock and unlock apps you chose, send the reminders you turn on, and manage your subscription. Also to respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

AI-generated affirmations

When you ask the app to write affirmations, your first name, goals, the details you entered, and your chosen tone are sent from our server to Anthropic, an AI provider, which generates the text and returns it to us. Do not enter information you do not want processed this way. If generation is unavailable, the app uses a built-in library instead.

Who we share information with

Only service providers that help us run the Services, each limited to providing their service to us: Supabase (database, sign-in and hosting), Anthropic (affirmation generation), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), Apple (App Store purchases, speech recognition, Screen Time), and Cloudflare (website hosting). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Where information is processed

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Services you understand your information may be transferred to places with different data-protection laws than yours.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and synced data at any time in the app under Settings → Delete my account & data. If you want us to also remove any remaining sign-in record, or to delete information in another way, email [email protected] and we will do so. Uninstalling the app removes data stored only on your device.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Economic Area), you may have additional rights, such as objecting to or restricting processing, and complaining to your local data-protection authority. We will respond within the time the law requires. You can turn off microphone, speech recognition, notifications and Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to synced data is restricted to your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
